Skiing & Snowboarding

Park City is home to several world-class ski resorts, including Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort, which offer a range of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. If you’re visiting Park City in the winter, definitely get some runs in on the slopes!

Hiking or Mountain Biking

If you go in summer, there is still plenty to do in Park City. It’s surrounded by mountains, and there are numerous trails in the area for both hiking and mountain biking. Many of the ski resorts open trails for the summer, but be sure to check their website for more info.

Ride the Town Lift

While there are many fun things to do in Park City, our favorite was riding the town lift to the top of the mountain – the views were absolutely incredible! You can also hike around the mountains once you get to the top, so it’s really a two-for-one special!

Chairlift riders in Park City, Utah can access the slopes via the Town Lift. It is one of the most visited places in the town and is well-known for the breathtaking views that it provides of the valley and the mountains that are located in the surrounding area.

The Town Lift is a ski lift in Park City, Utah, that ascends to the summit of Park City Mountain Resort from its starting point at the bottom of Main Street. It is a triple chairlift with a fixed grip that is open throughout the entire year.

During the winter months, you can gain access to the ski slopes at the mountain resort. During the summer months, it is utilized for activities such as mountain biking and sightseeing. You can also just ride the lift up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the views… (that’s what we did)

Everyone who comes to Park City should make it a point to ride the Town Lift at least once while they’re there because it’s such an easy and enjoyable way to get up to the ski slope.
